Review: The Allure of Dean Harper - R.S Grey

With Lily's best friend now living in New York working for Vogue and hooked up with Julian, Josephine offers Lily a place to come and stay till she finds a job in the big Apple as for how hard can it be since she is a qualified chef after graduating from Culinary School. With Josephine and Julian's connections, Lily ends up getting a job trial at Dean Harper's restaurant. She is amazing, but of course, things don't go as well as they should when she accidentally ends up insulting Dean Harper himself. He fires her on the spot, and now her dreams are dashed. The thing is as Dean's best friend happens to be Julian and Lily's Josephine the pair will be spending a lot more time together. Lily and Dean seem to bring out the worst in each other, but underneath all the bickering, the pair makes a great team.  Is their underlining love bubbling up underneath their hatred for one another? As a fan of romantic comedy, I have to say I adored this book and now I can't wait to go back and read R.S Grey's other books including Book #1 with Josephine and Julian's story.  The Allure of Dean Harper has everything from lots of laughs to witty banter and undercover spy work when one of Dean's business partners tries to steal his ideas. This scene included a visit to the strip club and was hilarious, I loved this book and chuckled my way through it. I also have to admit that I found myself liking the character of Dean Harper and seems he found his way onto my Book Boyfriend list.
