Review: Lumberjanes - Beware the Kitten Holy (Volume One)

Lumberjanes, Vol. 1: Beware the Kitten Holy (Lumberjanes, #1-4)

Review: Lumberjanes - Volume #1 - Beware the Kitten Holy - Various Authors/Illustrators - April 2015

Not all females and young ladies are destined to be just that ladies , some of us love adventure and geeking out and solving crimes/taking risks. That's where Lumberjanes comes in , this is like the female version of Boy Scouts and reminded me a little of Brownies and Girl's Brigade that I attended when I was younger. These girls get up to mischief when strange things start occuring around their campsite , they keep running away from their cabin leader Jenny who thinks they are telling big stories - she is about to realise the truth though when she spots strange things happening around her. If you love Adventure and don't see yourself as a girly girl or if you have a daughter or know someone aged 9+ , then this is the book for them as remember these days that Graphic novels are no longer just for boys and that girls of all ages can enjoy them just as much.
