The Stones are back. Let the OMGs begin. Angel Payne and Victoria Blue's explosive series continues. Are you ready for Margaux and Michael's story?
What came first? The princess or the shoes? And does it really matter?
My name is Margaux Asher. Don’t be afraid to ask how it’s spelled though I may enlighten you, anyway. Yes, I’m that Margaux Asher. The attitude icon. The bitch in the latest heels. The princess of the PR game.
Just don’t bring up the queen.
Mommie and I aren’t on comfortable terms. Last winter, I learned a secret that Andrea Asher has hidden from me since my birth—by another woman. And my real father? Josiah Stone, one of the world’s richest men. Dream come true, right?
There’s a lot of baggage attached to that answer. And now, Michael Pearson wants to help me open it.
Michael. My six-foot-three, golden god of a dilemma. He’s patient, indulgent—and don’t get me started on his passion—but he wants too much. He wants all the secrets. What would he say if he knew my birthright was only the start of my life’s mess? What would he do if he learns…I’m no perfect princess?
Someday, my princess will come…

A bit about me...
I've been hooked on books since I was a kid but it got worse in my twenties, when I discovered romances--the hotter, the better. Growing up in Southern California, with lots of surfer manliness surrounded me, was certainly a good boost for reading about delicious alpha guys and the women who adore them. When I learned I had a knack for telling these stories too, I guess you could say I was doomed--though my path toward romance novelist took a few detours via a concert-reviewing gig for my college newspaper (free show tickets...backstage passes...that was a no-brainer), artist interviews for a Beverly Hills dance music mag, personal assistant work for a record producer, dance club disc jockey, and a lot of fun in the hospitality industry.
These days, I still live in California, and have found an amazing alpha guy of my own who was brave enough to marry me. We live on a street that looks like Brigadoon, with our beautiful daughter. I have the best life ever, and never forget to thank the Big Guy Upstairs for it, either.
Victoria Blue lives in her own portion of the galaxy known as Southern California. There she finds the love and life sustaining power of one amazing sun, two unique and awe inspiring planets and three indifferent, yet comforting moons. Life is fantastic and challenging and everyday brings new adventures to be discovered. She looks forward to seeing what's next!
Review: The Vigilante's Lover - Volume #4 - Annie Winters and Tony West - March 2015
One of the things I hate about series is that they all must come to an end and often , it is a nice feeling to have finished it but you are left with an empty spot in your heart as you know you will possibly never see those characters again. If you love action adventure and spy novels, then the 4 Volumes of The Vigilantes Lover is the books for you. Aimed at in-between a Serial and a Novella length, these books are reads that you cannot put down as we follow vicariously through the pages, the adventures of Jax and Mia. At the end of Book #3 we learned that Mia was part of the founding families of the Vigilantes and then she was kidnapped by Jovana and Jax kidnapped by Sutherland and his team. In Volume #4 we are left with the questions and answered on will Jax survive and find a way out or is this goodbye as he is finally captured and his execution prepared ? Mia is kidnapped by Jovana who we know is a mastermind and high on the Vigilante foodchain. Is this the end of Mia or will she surprise readers ? I did like how this book ended , but was hoping for a bit more background on Mia and her family and how they fitted into the Vigilantes system.
If you are on the lookout for a new Novella Serial to read , then check out Annie Winters and Tony West's Vigilante's Lover series as you will not be disappointed.

I had it all: an adoring husband, supportive friends, thriving career, a homey condo in the city. Amend that. I had it all except for love from my family. But life was spectacular because I had him. Max was everything I dreamed a husband could be and somehow he loved me just as wildly as I loved him. Until one cruel night he was stolen from me. Then I had nothing but a vicious battle ahead of me. It’s a struggle so treacherous, I’m not sure if I’ll make it out with my heart in tact. But on the other side of that brutal war waits the most wondrous prize. Will I allow myself to move forward?
Prologue – Hers
When my husband works overnights at the fire station, I sleep on his side of the bed. Max doesn’t know that even though he spends more nights in our bed than out of it, I miss him enough to burrow in sheets emanating the remnants of his aftershave. It’s like being cocooned in his arms even when he’s not around. Sleep comes easier over here. That’s where I am, tucked underneath the down cover, safe in a dreamless slumber when a pounding rouses me. My heart leaps in surprise and I launch into a seated position, hand hovering over my chest. With a blind hand, I slap along the bedside table to find my glasses and jam them onto my nose. Knuckle pounding against wood doesn’t cease when I capture the time. Nothing good can come of someone knocking on your door at one in the morning. I scoot off the bed and shrug into the lightweight robe that lies on my husband’s suit valet. He hates it when I leave my things there, I think numbly. Somehow my body’s moving forward, even though every nerve ending screams at me to crawl back into bed and pretend this is a dream. It’s almost like the Grim Reaper lurks on the other side of that door. I imagine a black hooded robe, bony skeletal fingers clutching a scythe waiting for me. If there were enough time, I’d bargain with him. Beg to replace my life for his. Give up everything I have on God’s green earth for the man who gave me the gift of a full, flourishing life. A knock on the door means it’s too late for brokering. If a ringing phone yanked me from sleep, it wouldn’t be this daunting. The fear wouldn’t be overpowering all of my other senses. With a quivering hand I flip a light switch on and unlatch the lock on our front door. Their faces are grim, solemn. Hot tears blur my vision before I can identify who has come to deliver the news. Even before they speak, a strangled cry rips from my throat and my knees buckle. Like a puppet cut from its strings, I collapse toward the floor. Strong arms encircle my waist squeezing me tight. The pressure of this man’s arms around me is the only thing reminding me I’m still alive and not thrust into the depths of hell. “Violet.” “Don’t say it,” I shriek. A feral cat stole my voice box, the howls ripping from my body completely unlike any other sound I’ve ever made. “Violet.” This time the stern voice fights through the tornado of emotion and I blink hazily upward. “Felix,” I whisper through a dry, cracked throat. Soot and ash still mar his cheeks, hair disheveled in every which way. Weariness seeps off him, from the slump in his shoulders to the exhaustion in his eyes. “We lost him. I’m so sorry. We lost him.” I don’t remember much of anything after that.
