Review: Hidden Falls - Episode #4 Unexpected Hero - Olivia Newport - February 2014

Quinn is still missing and it seems that nothing is making those left behind who are searching high and low for him - any closer to solving his disappearance and where he has been for the last few days ? Episode #4 started with the aftermath of Sylvia's shop being broken too and here we were hoping it was connected somehow to Quinn but this part was left open-wide and ledt the readers wondering who broke into shop and why ? It seems Lauren has an admirer in the local sheriff Cooper - will he be able to actually spend time with Lauren rather than continually question her as she seems to keep popping up where things have gone wrong ? Nicole and Ethan are still trying to track and discover Quinn's whereabouts and have decided to dig up some research on Quinn but it turns out that Nicole starts to unturn some weird stones and it has the reader wondering what type of past does Quinn have to hide that he refuses to have his photo taken ? Who was Quinn really before he came to teach in Hidden Falls ? Two characters are in deep trouble but not to do with Quinn's disappearance , we have Liam who has been embezzling and now with Quinn gone is trying to work out how to get back on top and Jack who has moved to start a legal office in Hidden Falls. Out of all the characters , I have to admit that I don't like Jack - there is just something off and mean about his character. That was one of the downsides about Episode #4 was that this book mainly featured Jack compared to actually solving Quinn's disappearance and I really want to find out what happened to the store ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
