Review: Stargazing From Nowhere - Isabel and Marilyn Thomas

Review: Stargazing from Nowhere - Isabel and Marilyn Thomas - July 2013

What would you do if the band that you blogged about, the one you hated so much was going to come to your small town ? For high schooler Kristen Morgan, this is a bit of dilemma as by day she is your average invisible high school attendee but by night she runs an anonymous blog called "Stargazing from Nowhere" and is known simply in the cyber-world as "The Stargazer" . On her blog, she bags and prints gossip about the band Rising Tide and other tidbits that excite her as of course in the cyber world she can be as blunt and honest as she wants and no-one will care and know it's her.  Turns out though that the band Rising Tide have had some nasty problems and are being sent to Kristen's small hometown to hide from the press and work out their band problems in order for the new album to be a success like the previous ones.  Kristen sees this as an advantage and an opportunity and decides to pose as Rising Tides biggest fan and crashes one of their events. This lands Kristen in the eyesight of the drummer of Rising Tide Michael. Of course, for those who have read American Girl on Saturn will have an idea on what angle this book will take as that is what it reminded me of . As Michael and Kristen get closer , it seems that passion has struck a match and the two start to fall for each other. What will happen though when Michael discovers who Kristen's alter-ego is ? When it comes to the crunch, what will Kristen go with - her head or her heart ? Which is more important to her - her blog or her love for Michael ?
Find out in this contemporary teen romance novel "Stargazing from Nowhere" which another aspect I loved was the blog posts and comments spread throughout the novel.
