After both her father and brother were killed in action , Mia decided to not be a cop but a lawyer who could put the criminals who deserved it . She worked hard and in her first year, she has been given an opportunity of a lifetime which is normally reserved for third year students - to be an intern at a law firm. While out celebrating the opportunity with her best friend Jeremy, she meets Marcus DeLuca - he is the one in charge of the law firm that she may get the chance to intern in and also one of Jeremy's friends. There is a dangerous attraction between Mia and Marcus and soon the pair become not only work colleagues but also lovers. As their relationship develops, strange things start happening as Mia overhears conversations and realises that Marcus is hiding things and may be involved in some dodgy business. However , will Mia be able to handle everything when the truth of her brother's murder comes into light and it has something to do with Marcus ?
