Review: Reaper - L.S Murphy

Review: Reaper - L.S Murphy - January 2013

Imagine being sixteen years old and discovering that you are a direct descendant to the Grim Reaper and that it's your turn to become one. What would you do ? For Quincy Amarante, she is about to discover what happens when you try and walk away from what many will call your destiny or your fate when during class she discovers time is frozen and standing with death is her great-grandfather Forsyth Amarante. Now Quincy must accept her new role and become a reaper to keep life and death in balance. This wouldn't be too hard but Quincy is sixteen years old and going through all the peer pressure and things that sixteens go through like friendship issues, backstabbers, boyfriends and enemies , mean guys and girls and of course parents and parties.  Can Quincy make it through the year in one piece or will tragedy strike too close to home which will cause Quincy to re-evaluate her life and even maybe her role as a Grim Reaper ?
Find out in this fun teen read which reminded me of a cross between both of Darynda Jones's series "The Charley Davidson Series" with the Grim Reaper and Ghost thing and "Death, The Girl and .............. series " in terms of High School and the teen content.
