Ever wondered what it would be like to be surrounded by bodyguards all day ? Have a lack of freedom ?

Review: Overprotected - Jennifer Laurens - April 2011
All Ashlyn has ever wanted was a taste of freedom , after an incident that happened when Ashlyn was younger she has been surrounded by bodyguards and protected but not in a you can still have your freedom way but in a way that she is over-protected. Coming up to Eighteen , Ashlyn yearns for her freedom and for her parents to stop treating her like a little child and someone that needs protecting. When her first bodyguard gets fired , Ashlyn hopes that it is the last - but her enjoyment is outlived when her father hires a new one - but this new bodyguard has history with Ashlyn. His name is Colin and when they were younger , he used to make her life a living hell and now they are both attracted to each other. Can the duo keep their distance or is this fate's funny idea of keeping them together and bringing them closer together ? What will happen though , when danger and tragedy strikes and Ashlyn wishes at that moment she was protected ? Will she return safely or has someone finally achieved their goal and gotten rid of Ashyln for good - once and for all ?
I personally found it to be a bit slow for my liking , it started great and had a real good premise and then it just seemed to drag therefore I am giving it 3 stars rather than 4 stars.
