Review: Fighting for Flight - Book #1 Fighting Series - JB Salsbury - February 2013
Born into a rough life being the daughter of not only a call girl but also one of the town's worst and most powerful pimps, Raven hasn't had the easiest life .With the help of her former shop teacher Guy , Raven managed to make a life for herself and a career working for him at his Garage which as Guy has no children will be passed onto her. When UFC champion Jonah Saul comes to the shop wanting someone to help him restore a Chevy, Raven is the girl for the job. Now Jonah has never been interested in girls except for when it comes to an easy lay - a hump and dump. However Raven isn't like anyone he has ever seen before and he starts to develop actual feelings for her - lovebird feelings. All is a honeymoon bliss until Raven's 21st birthday nears and her father comes knocking for her -as it's time for her to enter into the family business . Now with all her friends lives threatened and the ones she loves lives on the line, will Raven sacrifice her happiness and future to save those she cares most for OR will Raven learn just how much she really is cared for and that she really does have a strong support system of people who care and love her for her- not because of who her family is , people they don't judge her ?
An awesome story and great to see UFC and MMA used as a sport for once instead of the usual Football scene.
