Review: Ten Tiny Breaths - K.A Tucker

Needing another "new adult" novel to tie you over for today's reading ?
Does the thought of a NA novel get you excited and you just can't wait to rip into it and discover the adventures of the characters and experience their emotions.

Review: Ten Tiny Breaths - Book #1 Ten Tiny Series - K.A Tucker - December 2012
This is another one of those WOW New Adult type novels. The ones that you read and they get you thinking and going "come on" to the main character. You feel their emotions but you really want them to move on and try and pick their lives back up - if not for themselves , but for those around them who care and love for them so much , that it breaks your heart when you see how they are being treated.
In Ten Tiny Breaths, we meet sisters Kacey and Olivia aka Livvie who are on the run to start a new life as four years ago they lost their parents in a car accident which also Kacey lost her boyfriend and her best friend. She was the only survivor , her life took a downward spiral after that and she found solace in the boxing gym. Now moving away with her sister, they are hoping for a fresh new start. The pair move into an apartment building and meet next door neighbours Storm and her daughter Mia who Livvie bonds too and on the other side, hunky new neighbour Trent whom Kacey has sparks flying towards.
The novel follows Kacey's life as she tries to piece back her life but things start to go a bit AWOL when she finds that she can't control her present as her past starts to come rushing back in spurts. When Trent disappears , Kacey starts to go a bit off -edge and we start to wonder if her recovery is sliding back downhill ? What will happen though when Kacey discovers the man she has come to love and trust knows all about the accident and is hiding secrets from her ? Is this the tipping point where Kacey will need to decide whether she will get well or sink further under ? This is that vital moment in her life when she realises that she needs to step back and take "Ten Tiny Breaths".
Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A Tucker was another amazing novel and I believe that fans of The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay will really enjoy this if they have not yet discovered its awesomeness.
