Review: Night School - Book #1 - Night School Series - January 2012
When I first requested this ARC from Eidelweiss , I thought that it was going to be a boarding school about Vampires hence the Night School part. However, when I first started reading it we meet Allie who has been arrested three times in the past year and is now as a last resort being shipped off to boarding school at Cimmeria Academy. Here I am still wondering about the Vampire connection and this strange Night School , when things start to happen as Allie has a series of nightmares , some of the students are acting weird and Allie doesn't seem to fit in with the school. As the novel goes along, we hear that Allie and her new friend Jo heard a noise like a growling dog only to be told it was a fox and then a student is found murdered. What is going on at the school ? When Allie learns that only legacies tend to be accepted , she goes digging into her files and discovers a whole different life than she could imagine and it all points back to her mother ? What is her mum hiding and why did her mum attend the academy ? What is going on here that people are dying and no-one is talking about it ?
By the end of the book , I have an idea of what's happening but to be honest I am still not entirely sure which is why I had to go out and buy the second book off Amazon - Night School: Legacy to find out more. 
Night School is one story that is filled with twists and turns and at the end of it , you will be still like Huh ?? and it will make you and I mean make you go out and purchase Book #2 just to find out what is going on.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers.
