Review: Death and The Girl Next Door - Book #1 Darklight Series - Darynda Jones - October 2012
If you are like me , then you would have read and devoured Darynda Jones's series starring the awesome kick-butt female Charley Davidson and the Angel of Death - Reyes.  Now author Darynda Jones has written a similiar tale aimed at the teenage audience.
Death and The Girl next Door introduces us to three main characters and a minor who plays a big part. We have our female star Lorelai who ten years ago was out with her parents and then they vanished into thin air never to be seen again , Cameron - Lorelai's classmate who lately seems to be stalking her , Jared - the new hot guy who seems to have something dark and mysterious going on and Brooke - one of Lorelai's best friends.
Lorelai ever since she was young has been having visions, not sure what to make out of them she has only shared them with her friend Brooke, but what happens when her latest vision involves a guy whom she has never met and the following day he is the "new guy" at her high school ? Cameron , Lorelai's classmate has not said two words to her since they were eight years old so why is it now that he has taken up to following her ? Is Cameron hiding something ?  Jared - the new guy immediately becomes enemies with Cameron - do they have past history ? What will happen when the time comes and Jared is revealed as the Angel of Death ?
Lorelai will soon discover that all that is happening is a result of a terrible accident that occurred ten years ago when her parents disappeared , what will happen when Lorelai learns the truth of what happened ? Will her life be changed for the better or the worst?
Find out all this and more in Darynda Jones's new series Darklight with Book #1 Death and the Girl Next Door.
