Review: The Prey - Andrew Fukuda

Fancy a bit of Dystopia crossed with the Supernatural ?
Have you read Book #1 in the Series - "The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda".
Review: The Prey - Book #2 The Hunt Series - Janaury 2013
A series that has a boastful sticker on the front cover saying to customers if you love the Hunger Games you will enjoy this , well for me personally I loved it more than the Hunger Games. After reading the first book and the Cliffhanger it presented, I couldn't wait to read Book #2 The Prey. In The Prey, Gene has escaped the Heper Colony and is now on the run with his new friends Ben, Epap, Jacob and Sis. After the discovery at the end of The Hunt that his father was the Scientist, Gene now must travel with the group to the Land of Milk and Honey - Paradise but of course in order to do this they have to survive the Hepers that are along their paths. When they reach a colony , they believe this is the one - but things aren't always what they seem and between Gene and Sissy they think that this Paradise they have found is a little too good to be true. Is this the Paradise they were looking for or something more sinister and what is the rumours floating around about Gene's Dad ? Another great installment and in this novel we find out the meaning behind the character's names and again the downside is it ends in a Cliffhanger in which we have to wait and wait till the next book is released in September/October 2013.
