Looking for a new teen indie series to get stuck into ? Love the theme of Cinderella tales?
Review: Dante's Girl - Book #1 Paradise Diaries - Courtney Cole - June 2012
Imagine , you are on your way to your dad's for another annual vacation to London where he works for the NSA when an aeroplane blows up at the airport. Whilst at the airport, you managed to somehow bump into a hot guy and now you are being whisked away with this hot guy. That's what happened to Reece - a farm girl from Kansas when she was on her way to her Dad's and now she has ended up in the Greek Island of Caberra with the hot guy who turns out to be Dante Gilberti - son of the Prime Minister of Caberra and heir to the operation of Gilberto Olives. For Reece this is like a dream come true , and she can't believe that she is here . Though what happens when the time comes to meet his friends, will her fantasy world be shot down to reality when she discovers that A) they hate Americans and B) Dante is already in a "complicated" relationship with a stunner chick Elena who is also rich and wealthy. How can Reece ever compete ? With the help of newfound friend Mia whose father is the Ministry of Defence leader , Reece will learn the ways of the Caberra's and learn to fight for what or in this case who she wants. Will Reece get her Cinderella moment with Dante or will she discover that happily-ever-afters are only found in books ?
A great start to a new series, that I look forward to reading Book #2 and Book #3.
Perfect for anyone who loves Cinderella tales.
