Review: Nothing But Drama - ReShonda Tate Billingsley

Today's book is actually Book #1 in a series , that due to the way it arrived in the library - I read it back to front working my way from Book #3 to Book #1 , Lucky it is a series that you don't nessecary have to read in order and the books are written in a way that they coud be stand-alones.

Nothing But Drama (Good Girlz)

Review: Nothing But Drama - Book #1 GoodGirlz Series- ReShonda Tate Billingsley - Nov 2006

Ready to go back to where GoodGirlz all started , for me as I said before I read this series back to front , so it was quite nice to see how the characters became friends and how they each found their way to the Good Girlz Youth Group run by Rachel. From Camille , who was sentenced by the courts as part of her community service to attend the group for harbouring her boyfriend who had escaped from Jail and later she finds out that he is definitely a scumbag and not worth putting her life in jeopardy anymore for him , to Alexis who attends the group as part of a community service project "the Junior League" she attends has to participate in and we later discover that behind her rich girl facade is in fact a rich girl in a broken home situation and that sometimes money can't buy everything to Jasmine - who has just moved to town and has started in the group as a way of controlling her anger and behaviour to Angel - fifteen, a runaway and pregnant .
Find out where the GoodGirlz started and their stories in Nothing But Drama. An excellent Christian Urban Fiction series for teens who enjoyed authors like Stephanie Morrill , Varian Johnson , Melody Carlson, Robin Jones Gunn and Nancy Rue.
